Winner of the Alternative Nobel Prize in 2010, coordinator of Oilwatch International and President of Friends of the Earth International, Nnimmo is, amongst other achievements, the author of "To Cook a Continent, Destructive Extraction and the Climate Crisis in Africa".
* An extremely polluting practice of burning natural gasses during petrol extraction.
